I have been dating my bf for 8 months. I am a virgin and he is not, but he has only been with one sexually partner. Anyway, when he says something perverted to me, I feel so dirty. I am african american and he is caucasian and he recently told me how he likes “dark meat.” We are both adults, but I just feel so strange. It’s not a racist issue, bc he clearly isn’t that way but when he says dirty things to me I kind of shy away. Why is this?

It’s probably because you’re not really used to those kind of things he’s putting out. However, if you feel really awkward about it and it;s making you uncomfortable, talk to him about it. Something along the lines of..
“Hey, I don’t really like it when you talk like that. It makes me feel like a piece of meat and doesn’t really do much for my self esteem. I would appreciate it if you slowed your roll.”
If that pisses him off or anything it just shows that he only wants you for your body.
