Are there “African Canadians”, and “African British”, and “African Germans”????? Is the US the only country that is hung up on this?? If it is stemming from slavery, I still don’t get it because many countries have had slaves of different ethnicity dating back to the bible. I have never heard of “Jewish Egyptians”, “Indian Arabs”, etc…..The early nations of Islam were huge believers and users of slaves from Africa, India, Europe.
Cordova…..thanks for the insight. Now I know why it started in the US. I guess that is why other countries don’t seem to be hung up on it.
