The History Of Russian Jewelry ? A Brief

The history of Russian jewelry starts with Peter I who organized all the state owned antique jewelry into a fund called the State Diamond Fund, in 1719. Peter I, also known as Peter the Great, reigned over Russia between 1682-1725. He decreed that the state owned Russian jewelry, which went back to the days of the Byzantine kingdom, was to be protected and expanded by each emperor and empress. Peter the Great secured all the antique jewelry, belonging to the period between the fifteenth till the seventeenth century, in a strong room located in St Petersburg, in his Winter Palace.

Following Peter’s reign, despite upheavals, substantial jewelry was added to the growing collection of Russian jewelry by Peter’s daughter Elizabeth I, her nephew Peter III, his wife Catherine III and her son Paul I.

During World War I the Russian jewelry had been hidden in the underground vaults of Kremlin. After the World War, around 1926, the antique jewelry was extricated from the Kremlin vaults, duly catalogued and photographed. Almost the entire collection of Russian jewelry was sold in 1927 at the famous Christie’s in London to an American consortium of buyers.

However, it was the left over pieces, which had not been sold, that were actually priceless in antiquity and significance. These pieces were remarkable specimen going back to the eighteenth and the nineteenth centuries besides the crown jewels from various coronations. Today, the Russian jewelry, as the world knows it, is inside the vaults of the Kremlin open to public viewing.

The bulk of the Russian jewelry, which had been sold off to the American consortium, is now being sold as works of art and fine jewelry. It is not uncommon to find Faberge pieces in gold and turquoise from Louis XV period on sale on the web. You can also find ruby and pearl earrings and pendants with seed pearl, emerald drop and diamond besides cigar cutters in gold! You can also buy brooches, deco ruby necklaces, cufflinks, diamond cluster rings and bracelets in 18 k gold, ruby and diamond from the 1940s.

If Ancient Egypt was black, why then…?

Do hieroglyphs look similar to Vinca script and Sumerian? Both predate hieroglyphs. There has NEVER been any other African language.

Why did they have horse drawn chariots when the wheel was invented in Europe and the horse domesticated there? Sub-Sahara Africa has NEVER domesticated ANY animal. They still did not invent the wheel when Europeans colonized it.

They also did have suitable docile beasts of burden, for example the Zebra was domesticated by Europeans.

Why did they have agriculture there but no where in sub-Sahara Africa despite it being the most fertile continent on the planet? Yet there’s evidence of European agriculture as soon as the Ice Age ended.

Why was there a predynastic mummy found with nordic features and red hair? Why did all the mummies pre25th dynasty have these exact same features?

Why did Ramses II have haplotype H in his DNA? This is a European haplogroup not found in sub-Saharan Africa.

Why are there small pyramids in Europe that predate Egyptian pyramids? Why do Sumerian ziggurats look similar to the first Egyptian pyramid, built by Djoser in Saqqara Egypt, the lower Kingdom. The lower kingdom btw is in the NORTH of the country, do not be confused by that terminology.

Why is there a 25,000 year old European burial that was found, of a man with ceremonial and complex beads. Woven cloth was not found in sub-Sahara African until 500 years ago.

Why did Egypt stagnate after the Nubians took control in the 25th dynasty? Why do all countries stagnate/regress once it becomes multicultural or black ruled?

Why was the first Egyptian pyramid built in the North of the country?

Why were the Nubian pyramids built in 800 BC, 2000 years after the first Egyptian pyramid. Why are they all so small? Why are they already crumbling when Egyptian pyramids are holding up much better, are much older and much larger?

Why did Menes pallet show him with an elongated nose? Why do Afrocentrists use this as proof of his race when it’s clear his nose is not African.

Why do Afrocentrists only show post 24th dynasty art? Why do they show art of slaves?

Why do Afrocentrists mention Ethiopeans? The elongated nose evolved in Ice Age Europe, which can be proven by Neanderthals. No other hominid besides Caucasians have elongated noses. It is superior in a frozen climate. There would be no reason for eritreans or somalis to “evolve” this nose. They have these caucasoid features because they are mixed with Arabs and white Christians.
